I’m not a Ranch person - too many bad memories of fat-free salad dressing (Ranch included!) from my 80s childhood!!! I do like hot sauce as a dip for my pizza crust, since crushed red pepper flakes don’t stick to the crust...

This has me wondering about an olive oil/ garlic salt/ red pepper flake mix as a possible dip for pizza crusts....

That would work and be very delicious! I take the easy route with hot sauce.

Much respect for the easy route.

With the right pie, I love a ranch drizzle (or some on the side for dipping), but this is also coming from someone who craved pickles on pizza while pregnant and hasn’t looked back postpartum - so pizza is no sacred thing for me that has to be one certain way. A little ranch drizzled on a pepperoni / banana pepper / feta pizza (that also has red pepper flakes sprinkled on top) is delightful. *chef’s kiss*

A great pizza I had in Sint Maarten was pickles, spicy Italian sausage, and a drizzle of hot honey. Yum. Pickles on pizza is underrated!

I was just at a slice shop in Utica that offered a pizza topped with pickles. I was intrigued! I'll order it next time.

I am not ranch curious nor would be considered a ranch dressing fan so it’s a no from me. But then again, I like a ham and pineapple pizza (I’m a Canadian, eh) so who am I to judge those who like their pizzas ranched up?

Count me as pro-ranch. First was offered it as an add-on at Mod Pizza. Great for a drizzle, but best for crust dipping once all the good stuff is gone (actually, a good crust might be my favorite part).

Dipping sauce with pizza for the win. It’s commonplace here in Canada, esp in Toronto. So many good sauce options like

Hot honey, creamy garlic, ranch, marinara, I could go on. You could also drizzle the sauce on your slice, dip as you eat or just dip the crust. A good pizza place will have high quality delicious dipping sauces.

I love ranch with pizza, but I really just dip the bare crust in it

I’ve witnessed this practice, but have never been moved to try it because I don’t enjoy ranch dressing. Your vegan version intrigues me and I now feel compelled to try ranch on pizza. To be continued...

I don’t even like watching someone eat ranch on pizza….it reminds me of the overly processed food obsession in this country:-(. I do love a few tablespoons of quality olive oil (seasoned or not) in a small bowl, to dip my crust (s) in when I’m finishing my slice (s) :-)
