This has become my favorite salad dressing to whip up. I even turned it into a Greek themed pasta salad with kalamata olives, feta and all the veggies normally in Greek salad. It was delicious! It even traveled well and spent the night in our cooler. Thanks for such a fabulous and versatile recipe.
super easy, no fuss is shakshouka. Of course you could make the sauce from scratch but a jar of quality marinara, simmered, does the trick. Then poach eggs in the sauce. Add cheese and bam! dinner is served. I can get a dozen eggs in a 10" sauce pan.
Thanks for the link to Stepping Stones. It looks like a perfect place to spend slow-down time in the summer. The photo of the lake is beautiful, the pizza looks amazing!
So gorgeous! We took the long road home so we could soak in a little more lake time, so we drove around Hague. There are so many gorgeous spots along the lake it blows my mind.
Decided on a whim to get ingredients for a Greek salad while I was in Trader Joe’s and figured I would just dress it with lemon juice. I was amazed to have this recipe in my email when I got home, and so pleased that I even have all I need without another trip to the store! Thank you!😊
My family has been going to Lake George for 60 years. The lake is majestic and anyone who goes MUST get onto the water. I just returned.
So true. I am kind of a wimp about cold and water, and I cannot resist jumping into Lake George any opportunity I have. Thanks for writing :)

Such a good idea! Never thought to do this, but it really would make for an easy breakfast. I might try it with my roasted sungold tomato sauce!

It's really a special place... my appreciation for it grows every year and for the lake too. So pretty!
Oh how funny, my family is going to Lake George next week! We stay up north closer to Hague though. Have fun!
