These were incredible. My husband took a bite, looked at my son, as said “You have no idea how lucky we are to have a mommy who makes things like this for us.” So thank YOU & Sarah for this easy and delicious recipe.
Awww that's so sweet! My son just requested that I make them again. Incidentally, they keep for way longer than 3 days in the fridge. Such a treat to have on hand! Thanks for writing and sharing :)
It's an Ankarsrum Stand Mixer. I love it for things like whipping cream and beating lots of egg whites for say an angel food cake, and overall I really like it, but I don't think I've taken full advantage of its many feature, especially for bread — I think one of its big selling points for bread bakers is that you can knead a lot of bread in it at one time. I never knead anymore, and I prefer mixing by hand, so I never use it for bread. When my Kitchen Aid stand mixer died, I replaced it with this one, and overall I love it, but I just don't use it that often. I use my food processor way more.
I'm so pleased to have recipes in weights as well! Often I won't bake any more if it's not presented that way. Although, if it's something I must make, I've resorted to weighing my measurements and writing it in the book so the next time, it's easier. These bars look really good. I got the book this week but haven't had the chance to look through it yet.

Sucker for all things PB+C!! These look delicious.
Peanut butter and chocolate is one of my (many, many) weaknesses.
This is heading to the top of the TBM (to be made) pile! 😋
Thanks for sharing - they look delicious! Out of curiosity, what kind of mixer do you have and what do you think of it?

Oh! And I'm anxiously awaiting the olive oil ice cream recipe. Sounds so good.
Oh good! I'll get on it :)
